baiobit is a digital system that allows to correlate occlusal imbalances with patient's mobility issues.
HARDWARE
A lightweight, easy-to-handle medical device designed to take accurate and quick measurements. The kit consists of:
- 1 wearable motion sensor that does not interfere with the naturalness of gestures
- 3 belts of various lengths adaptable to different body districts
SOFTWARE
A constantly updated user-friendly application to take care of your patients while getting immediate results through:
- creation of customer profiles
- selection of tests and exercises
- real-time data acquisition and elaboration
- easy-to-read report generation
- comparison of collected data

DENTAL PACK
One application for 4 motor evaluations:- Balance test
- Cervical test
- Walk test
- Jump test
Balance test
This test allows the evaluation of the influence of dental occlusion on the ability to maintain orthostatic balance. Through this test, it is possible for dentists to evaluate the repercussions of the interventions on the stomatognathic system on the totality of the patient's motor system. The analysis can be carried out in the bi-podalic or mono-podalic position, with open eyes or with closed eyes, pre- and post-treatment.
Information provided by the analysis test:
- Statokinesiogram of the center of mass (COM)
- Swing angle
- 95% confidence ellipse area
- COM antero-posterior oscillation range
- COM mid-lateral oscillation range
- Average speed of the antero-posterior and mid-lateral oscillation
- Total trajectory length of the COM
- Path length as a function of surface (LSF)
- Risk of falling
Cervical test
This test allows to evaluate the influence of dental occlusal balance on the cranial-cervical neuromuscular one. Through this test, it is possible for dentists to evaluate the repercussions of interventions on the stomatognathic system on the patient's cervical district. The analysis is made by performing the 3 elementary movements of flexion-extension, rotation and lateral bending.
Information provided by the analysis test:
- Articular range of motion (width of cervical movement)
- Angular velocity for each direction of movement
Walk test
This test allows to evaluate the influence of the dental occlusal balance on the patient's functional motor skills. Through this test, it is possible for dentists to evaluate the repercussions of the interventions on the stomatognathic system on the patient's motor independence.
Information provided by the analysis test:
- Symmetry, speed, cadence
- Spatio-temporal parameters of the gait cycle
- Duration of the phases of the step, support, flight, double stands
- Range of movement of the pelvis during the gait cycle
Jump test
This test allows to evaluate the influence of the dental occlusal balance failure on the functional motor skills of the patient, especially of athletes. Through this test, it is possible for dentists to evaluate the repercussions of the interventions on the stomatognathic system on the patient's motor performance.
Information provided by the analysis test:
- Spatio-temporal parameters of the jump
- Stiffness, index of reactivity
- Force development rate
- Force to take off
- Impact index
- Reactivity strength index
- Total power
- Endurance
