10 février 2022In early 2022, we concluded the survey on the level of digitalization of dental practices in Europe, which involved over a hundred dentists. Data show that participants perceived digital innovation as a competitive advantage over competitors thanks to tools’ performance and better-established relationship with the patient.
Among digital devices essential to improve clinical practice, intraoral scanner and digital radiography were their first choices. Furthermore, more than 90% of interviewed dentists think that digital devices are useful to analyze the dental occlusion.
Almost half of dentitis has not yet invested in digital devices due to reasonable doubts about the budget to allocate and the time needed for training. The digitization of the dental sector is expanding rapidly in Europe and investing in digital is necessary not only to seize the opportunities of the market but also to stay within it without being swallowed up by the competition.
